I have always been especially conscious of the food I feed to ensure optimum health of my flock , breeding and egg production, hatchability of eggs, and growth and weaning of chicks.

In the wild, birds eat living, succulent foods and in my aviary I have tried to copy this as best I can. I have been feeding sprouted foods to my birds for almost 12 years. Initially I tried all the available sprout mixes that were on the market and there was something about each one that I tried that I wasn't happy with -- I want to give my own flock the best possible nutrition that I am able to and I just could not find it available, at least not in the quality that I demand for my birds. That's when I decided to blend my own, and the result is a fresh, clean mix with the finest ingredients -- most are human grade and the majority is organic - my own special blend of sprouted seeds, grains and legumes, a nutrient-rich food that I call BSA SproutMix.
